FORK YEAH!

The quaint town of Leiper's Fork, Tennessee, pleasantly takes you to a Tom Sawyer and or Huckleberry Finn like world that many of us have once dreamed of.

Leiper's Fork is located about 45 minutes from Nashville and is surrounded by greenery.

The views of the woods, rolling hills, creaks, barns and farms are truly old American.

  • You'll know you've arrived in Leiper's Fork when the Dukes of Hazzard's "General Lee" and the sheriff's cruiser greet you.
  • A huge barn houses rolled up hay and household items. It is a symbol of this region.
  • We saw countless barns on the hill.
  • Beautiful stone bridge over the creek.
  • Cattle…

  • Lawnchair Theatre, located in the heart of Leiper's fork, is a place for relaxation in the region where various types of entertainment are performed.
If you look at the flowers planted around the stage, you will feel the love of those who cherish this place.
  • Ford Model A. Preserved and restored for photo opportunities.
  • A movie under the stars is one of the favorite things to do in Leiper's Fork. Concerts and events are held throughout the year at Lawnchair Theatre. We'd better come back for a movie festival.

  • FINDS In The FORK
We feel most fortunate to have our items offered in Leiper's Fork. The shop, "FINDS In The FORK", is owned by our friend Karen Whitford. You may be amazed by her knowledge of music. Karen has a deep connection with many great musicians. Be ready to be immersed in the vinyl record room! She also sells clothes designed by her, one-of-a-kind musical instruments, locally made candles and many more unique items. There is no reason not to stop by FINDS In The Fork if you are near Nashville.
  • You will want to check out all the shops in this town.
  • Antique shops, diners, galleries, and grocery stores.
  • We couldn't stop smiling in this old American town.
  • A good day started at a diner with coffee. Real cowboys with cowboy hats and boots were also enjoying their morning cup of joe.

  • It has been our thing among Mt.hill crews to stay at a symbolic place in the region when traveling.
This time, we found this old fashioned big log house on a hill that was surrounded by a 2,000 acre forest.
We really love and appreciate feeling the special local vibe that a hotel would not be able to provide.
  • Western movie
  • Sinking ourselves in a rocking chair, gazing into the forest.
    What else could we need?
  • We walked around the log house until dinner.
  • Simple yet classic home decor!
  • Super comfortable log house.
  • Perfectly cozy and warm inside. (It was in the 30's outside. Brrr!!)

  • On the way back to Nashville. We found a house on the hill shining on the lawn.

We hope this beautiful virgin landscape will never change. Let Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn keep running around!
